North Devon Handmade Collective (NDHC) and Barnstaple Pannier Market have formed a new partnership for North Devon Arts Fest, a one-day festival celebrating the very best in local art, making, food and music on Sunday 27 July 2025 in the Pannier
Market, in collaboration with North Devon Council and Devon Arts.
Barnstaple Pannier Market has appointed NDHC to lead the recruitment and management of the arts and crafts exhibits at the event. Known for its curatorial capabilities and community-focused ethos, NDHC will bring together an exceptional selection of local makers, designers and artists to showcase their work in a lively, creative atmosphere.
Building on the success of previous events, including North Devon SpringFest and the Devon Day Craft Fair at Arlington Court, this latest collaboration aims to deliver a premium arts and crafts experience for both traders and visitors alike.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Barnstaple Pannier Market for North Devon Arts Fest,” said Andrew Cross, Director of North Devon Handmade Collective. “This is such a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our region’s rich creative culture in a venue that’s steeped in heritage and vibrancy. We’re looking forward to bringing together some of the finest makers from across North Devon for what promises to be a landmark summer event.”
There are two flexible exhibition options for stallholders:
- Self-managed spaces – located in the centre aisle, available at £20 for two tables or £25 for three tables.
- Managed spaces – curated by NDHC at £15 per space (approx. 60cm x 60cm) plus 10% commission on all sales. Stock will be merchandised into blended groupings for optimal visual presentation and visitor experience.
“We’re excited to welcome NDHC to Barnstaple Pannier Market for North Devon Arts Fest,” said Holly Bransby, Barnstaple Pannier Market market manager. “Their attention to quality, creativity, and community engagement aligns perfectly with our vision for this event. We’re proud to be partnering with them to showcase the incredible talent North Devon has to offer.”
