Brunel Group has officially opened its new office on Broad Street, South Molton, after acquiring the renewal rights to John Walker Insurance Ltd (JWI) in March 2025.
To celebrate the official opening, Brunel welcomed Councillor Steven Hinchliffe, Mayor of South Molton, who cut the ribbon alongside Brunel’s team and clients.
On the day of celebration, Matt Harlin, Brunel’s Managing Director said:
“When we acquired the business, we were delighted to take on a well-established local broker and build on its legacy. We made David three commitments: to remain part of the local community, modernise the office and invest in our people.
Today isn’t just about a refurbished office. It’s about keeping those promises and starting the next chapter for a business the community has trusted for many years.”
This opening strengthens Brunel’s position in the southwest, and the team looks forward to continuing to provide exceptional service to JWI’s loyal clients while growing its presence in the region.
With the addition of South Molton office, Brunel now operates ten locations nationwide. The Group acts for over 15,000 professional clients, employ over 160 staff and have ten offices in Bristol, London, Stockton, Weston-super-Mare, Newton Abbot, Coventry, Stowmarket, South Molton, Hayle and Cardiff.
