The moths are hungry and I don’t want holes in my jackets!
On Monday, I realised we needed some moth repellant to protect the clothes in our wardrobes. I was going to Ilfracombe High Street anyway, so I popped into Pedlar’s, a department store now in its sixth generation of family members and a founder member of the Home Hardware group.
They didn’t have cedar balls, which I wanted, but they don’t like to say “no”. They offered to order me two packets, which would be available on Thursday. Perfect!
Today I went in to collect them and was served by Helen Pedlar, who is the latest generation helping to run the business.
Pedlar’s is an example of a superb local business that works ceaselessly to help customers and plays a valuable role in the local community.
Why would you shop anywhere else?
