- Is your business being diverted by events beyond your control?
- Do you know which way to turn?
- Are you confused about where to take your business?
- Do you know in which direction you want your business to head, but never seem to find the time to get there?
Find your direction
Business Action Direction can help through a monthly meeting of a select group of business people who commit to working on their own businesses and supporting each other as a virtual board of directors.
Businesses signing up to Business Action Direction:
- Join a group of up to eight forward-looking business people
- Commit to meeting monthly to achieve ongoing progress
- Discuss their businesses in the strictest confidence to create total trust in their virtual board
- Work on their own business issues and help others address theirs
- Identify the direction in which they want to move their business
- Put ideas into action in their business
- Monitor progress monthly to ensure they are moving in the right direction
- Can call on a trusted support network
What are the potential results?
The virtual board provided by Business Action Direction can provide a short cut to the solutions to problems your business is facing.
Often, you will already know the solution through your own detailed knowledge of your business, but it may not be clear to you when you work on it by yourself.
Perhaps your virtual board will identify actions you can take yourself or it may confirm that you need external professional help.
Often, just knowing the solution can relieve major stress, even if you face major challenges.
Who can benefit?
Business Action Direction can help sole traders, owners of small businesses and managers of larger businesses – anyone in business:
- Needing to establish their new business
- Looking to grow their existing business
- Facing major challenges
- Reaching the limit of current opportunities and needing to move in a different direction
- Seeking to improve their business in any way
Unlike a training course which can be difficult to apply back in the workplace, you can put ideas into practice in your business and see how you progress.
And unlike networking, you benefit through using your time to work on real-life issues relevant to your day-to-day activities.
How do board meetings run?
Each month the structured meeting:
- Reviews progress since the previous meeting
- Identifies problems needing resolution
- Celebrates achievements
- Discusses relevant topics identified by members
- Discusses future activity
- Sets actions for the month ahead
Who manages the board?
Robert Zarywacz chairs each meeting, ensuring each member is able to contribute and benefit from activities.
Robert’s experience includes:
- Running his Zarywacz business partnership for 30 years and Need it Find it for seven years.
- Covering North Devon as a business journalist for 15 years
