The award-winning team at Turquoise

Market research consultancy Turquoise has won the 373 Group’s Best Rural Business award.

Turquoise provides research services to hundreds of national and international firms from its base in rural North Devon. Its team of nine researchers, managers and admin staff are supplemented by some 15 telephone interviewers who are regularly called upon to conduct research at its in-house call centre.

The award was one of 10 announced at the 373 Group Annual Business Awards dinner at Deer Park Hotel, Honiton, which 60 local businesses from across the South West attended.

Event organiser Chris Lorimer, co-founder of the 373 Group, said, “You can’t fail to be inspired by the range of businesses that were recognised. It is a real privilege to run these awards and lovely to be able to say well done to businesses whose achievements might otherwise go unnoticed.”

The awards were sponsored by Honiton-based Griffin Chartered Accountants and attracted more than 130 nominations from businesses across the South West.

Businesses nominating Turquoise described it as:

  • High quality and insightful research to help our business become more patient-centric – Louise Catton, EU Market Insight Manager – Immunology, UCB
  • A great company who always over deliver on their promises and go the extra mile to ensure your investment is returned via great analysis and market research – Matt Beveridge, Co-owner, New Coast Liquor
  • A great company, very personable in their approach and a solid business acumen – Mark Burland, Director, First Class Comms
