Barnstaple-based British silver jewellery design company Kit Heath Ltd. has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Professional Jeweller 2017 awards for Fashion Jewellery Brand of The Year. Voted for by industry peers as a trusted and aspirational brand, Kit Heath joins the shortlist alongside international giants Pandora, Swarovski and Thomas Sabo.
Brother and sister co-founders Kit Heath and Katie Nickell have been the driving force behind Kit Heath Ltd and the introduction of the Kit Heath brand. Creative director Katie Nickell, who has recently returned to the business, (after an extended maternity leave) is delighted with the nomination: “This is fantastic recognition for the hard work the team put into refocusing the brand, creating a designer silver collection with timeless appeal that we are really proud of. The company was founded in 1984 in North Devon and the efforts of its largely local close-knit family of motivated designers, customer service and sales staff has earned the brand a loyal following of jewellery retailers and customers alike. With a dedicated team also working stateside, the US distributor is expanding the brand in the American market where they love quintessentially British design.
