North Devon businesses have until 5pm on Friday 29 September to showcase their environmental credentials by entering the 2017 DEBI Awards.
The entry forms are very straightforward and DEBI, the Devon Environmental Business Initiative, is particularly keen to hear from North Devon’s business community.
The awards are open to any organisation of any size in Devon region, and encompass business, the public sector, community and education.
All entrants need to do is show how their organisation is committed to operating in environmentally friendly ways, whether through day-to-day operations or a specific green initiative.
Entry is free, and all shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend a free awards event at the Met Office later in the year.
Judging panels visit every shortlisted entry, and the winners are judged not on size or turnover, but on passion and commitment. These awards are a real celebration of Devon’s green initiatives.
Organisations can enter a maximum of two categories:
- Educated in Devon
- Made in Devon
- Enjoyed in Devon
- Sustainable in Devon
- Public Service in Devon
- Environmental Champion
- DEBI 2017 Member
